I fussy cut the stars from two different color prints of the panels and used them for the center of the log cabin variation blocks that border the sides. This center is framed by a checkerboard border and a Jinny Beyer outer border print. The backing is a yellow green homespun plaid by Buttermilk Basin.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eFor the batting I used Lind Taylors Choice 100% cotton. This batting is denser than the average 4 oz. batting which gives extra warmth and weight to the quilt.
