This quilt started when I made yo-yos from the charm pack (5’’ squares) “Illustrations” by Alli K Designs. I used a variety of red fabrics to make the black, white, and gray yo-yo flowers stand out. Next, I added leaves, embroidery and felted wool stamens to finish the flowers.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eFor the 4-patch setting squares I used a huge variety of floral prints. More floral prints were added for the borders and backing. I used a 50% bamboo, 50% cotton batting and did custom quilting with outlining, floral motifs feathers and leaves. The backing is a fabulous large-scale print by Bedspreads of California 1989.
