I chose to do my trees in green with yellow gold stars. I challenged myself to use fabrics from my scrap bags. The background with a metallic gold highlight was the only fabric I needed a bit more than scraps.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eThe pattern ended with the background border. I enlarged my quilt to a baby quilt size with a couple of borders. I used the stitch and flip cut offs from the blocks to make the triangle trees in the border and added yellow sunshine squares. For the backing and binding I used a metallic gilded green fabric and extra scraps.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eA cotton batting and a nature inspired quilting pattern called Retro Leave complete this quilt.
