A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose

This quilt is an original design of mine with a charted rose as the focus. A lovely Robert Kaufman rose print fabric is featured in the outer scalloped border and quilt backing. I used the 2’’ finished “Easy Piecing Grid” by Ten Sister’s and a cross stitch charted rose for the quilt center.

Large roses are quilted in the outer border with rose buds, swirls, and leaves in the inner border. I allowed myself to play with the background quilting which draws you in to see flowers, butterflies and bees combined with a variety of fill patterns.

I scalloped the outer border to enhance the romantic feel of the quilt. A mottled red fabric is used for the inner border and the binding. 100% bamboo batting, cotton fabric and custom quilting makes this an exceptional quality quilt that will give you many years of joy and beauty.
