Art For All

$1,050.00

William Morris was an English textile designer, poet, artist, writer and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts movement. He lived from 1834 - 1896.

Most of the block patterns I used in this quilt are from Moda Blockheads 6, an annual sew along. I used reproduction William Morris fabrics by Free Spirit for the emphasis of the quilt. I mixed these Arts and Crafts prints with a variety of fabrics from my stash. The layout I designed has a classic structure that allows the blocks to shine. The earthy colors and foliage prints will blend beautifully into your home.

The backing is from the Blithe collection by Katarina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabrics. A bamboo batting and a paisley quilt design complete this art quilt.
