Spring is in the air! Split Dresden plate blocks are made from “Laura’s London Lawn 2” fabrics by Maggie & Sharon for Moda. The Dresden flower plates bloom on a lilac fabric of 50% linen/50% cotton. London Lawns are also used in the sashing, piano key border and binding. The linen/cotton fabric continues as the backing and allows for the quilting to shine.

I finished this quilt with bamboo batting and exquisite custom quilting to make this an heirloom quilt that will provide years of warmth, comfort and beauty.
