Forest

Forest

The forest is ablaze with the colors of autumn in this nature inspired quilt. For the center of the quilt, I used 20 blocks from the 2024 Moda Blockheads 5 sew along. The outer border is from Jason Yenters fabric line “A Year of Art”. I love how the sun shines through the trees in this amazing border print.

The backing fabric is a rust-colored homespun plaid by Buttermilk Basin Fabrics. I used bamboo batting and quilted the design “Forest Walk”. A turquoise-colored binding frames this fall view.

Finished size: Queen - 83.25’’ x 97.5’’
