Hot Pink Hopscotch - Quilt & Wall Hanging
Riley Blake Designs has a yearly block challenge. This is my version of the 2025 challenge. I made two of each block and some additional blocks to round out the quilt and use up my scraps. This is truly a hot pink hopscotch. I used a solid neutral sashing fabric to give the eye space to enjoy the diversity of blocks and prints.
The backing is a combination of green prints and the binding is a mottled peach color. A batting of 80% cotton/20% polyester has a traditional feel and look with just enough polyester for easy care. Modern flowers and geometric lines in an edge-to-edge quilt design stitched up in a variegated neon thread adds depth and character.
Included with this quilt is a matching wall hanging that finishes at 40’’ square. A hanging sleeve is attached to the back.
Quilt size – 97’’ square.
