Montana Mountains

Montana Mountains

For me, this quilt conjures up the majestic blue and white snow caped mountains of Montana. The pattern for the center of this king size quilt is “Montana” by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts.

I used a variety of Laundry Basket Quilts fabrics with a sprinkling of others from my fabric stash to create a soothing and calm quilt.

The backing fabric “Hush Hush” by Riley Blake Designs is a soft white with small X marks that complements the lighter tone of this Mountain blue quilt. The batting is 100% Bamboo. I quilted a beautiful pattern called “Elizabeth” and finished the quilt with a binding that combines a variety of blue prints.

Finished size: King - 95.5’’ x 95.25’’
