Crows peck for seeds to feed upon and they love things that sparkle! So, I added ribbon trims with sequins and beads to bring the scenes with my wool appliqued crows to life.

Teal, blue greens, mauve and a variety of purples come together in this mix of traditional and whimsical blocks. I used a medallion setting to bring a cohesiveness to this vibrant and fun collection. Take time to savor the wide variety of prints at this Mardi Gras party. The backing is a combination of three different fabrics. I did hand guided custom quilting with a variegated teal and blue thread. The batting is 50% bamboo/50% cotton. A bright blue green batik binding finishes this quilt and brings it to life. What does Old Crow have to say to you?
