Trip Around the World is a classic quilt pattern that has been around for centuries. I chose to render it in low contrast prints. This can be tricky because the layout can easily become the “rainbow effect”. Instead of avoiding it I embraced the rainbow. I love the vibrant and edgy look of a saturated rainbow! This quilt will bring rainbow joy into your home. The borders are black undertone fabrics with gilding (pot of gold) which give contrast and contain this beautiful rainbow.

I used a polydown batting and polyester thread. Custom quilting on the diagonal accents the color gradation.
