A 1930’s Scottie dog print was reproduced in a super-size. I fussy cut the dogs from this larger print then used the square in a square block to frame them. More 1930’s reproduction fabrics were used to make pinwheels that alternate between the Scottie dog blocks. I framed it all with black and white borders.

Quilting features spiraled flowers in the outer border, circles in the black border, arc’s in the pinwheels and a four-corner twist in the Scottie blocks.  A soft and drape-able batting of 50% bamboo and 50% cotton by Legacy makes this a perfect throw quilt to cuddle under.
