A wide variety of batik fabrics contrasts against a mixture of white background fabrics for this fabulous Lemoyne Star quilt. The blocks are 16’’ square with a red batik outer border. An Indonesian batik was used for the sashing. The backing is a rayon/cotton batik.
I did ruler work quilting in geometric lines for a clean crisp finish. Batting is by Winline Textiles 80% cotton/20% polyester. Quilting thread is Superior polyester. All fabrics are cotton.
