Chain Reaction

I designed this pattern to utilize a jelly roll. Chain Reaction is a high contrast quilt which guides your eye through an array of beautiful prints. The focus fabric line is “Pastiche” by Jason Yenter from In the Beginning Fabrics. “Pastiche” along with other Yenter fabrics are combined with a modeled batik background fabric for a simple, elegant and stunning quilt. Neutral tan prints are used for the backing and a crisp blue print for the binding creates the final frame.

The custom quilting invites you to look deeper and see the varied elements incorporated into the all-over meandering vine. A batting of 50% bamboo/50% cotton makes this a natural, durable lightweight, and cozy quilt.
