Coco Chanel - Quilt & Wall Hanging

Coco Chanel was a clothing designer in the 20th century. Hot pink was her signature color. Hence the quilts name. Hot pink and dark brown are combined in this fun quilt. For the fabrics I used a combination of quilters cotton, a zebra print polyester cuddle cloth and flannel for the backing. The quilt layout uses a column setting for the sampler blocks which are alternated with columns of the textural zebra print fabrics. Two outer borders frame the columns.

I custom quilted a variety of floral motifs and designs and used a 50% bamboo/50% cotton batting to complement and finish this fun tactile quilt.

A companion wall hanging is included, 30.25’’ x 31’’ to make this a bedroom set.
