I designed the block “Splitting Logs” to utilize fat quarter cuts of fabric. It is featured in this quilt in a striking frenzy of fall fabrics that come together in a streaks-of-lightning setting. The fabric “Old World Charm” is combined with other fall prints in the backing and is used for the binding.

100% wool batting is the perfect match for this large quilt. The natural wool fiber makes it lightweight yet warm with loft. An edge-to-edge quilting of swirling leaves completes this quilt that begs to be cuddled under.
