Rich, dark, and warm like a freshly brewed cup of coffee. This quilt will bring an understated elegance to your home. A wide variety of earth tone batiks are combined with other organic prints in this quilt featuring the Churn Dash block. The outer border and corner stone print is “Feather and Song” by Maggie Walker for Timeless Treasures Fabrics. The backing is “Cottonwood Stables” by Color Principle for Henry Glass & Co.

I used a batting of 50% Bamboo/50% Cotton. A quilting design with spikes and arcs to mimic the spiky feathered border and a variegated thread to complete this warm quilt.
