Needlepoint Moxie

Needlepoint Moxie

The focus fabric is by Cathe Holden, Flea Market Moxie for Moda, which features a variety of needlepoint designs. The block pattern is Big T Origami from Missouri Star Quilt Co. For this quilt I used two fabrics in the T with a light-colored background print. Blocks are set without sashing which allows a larger neutral area to highlight quilting.

The backing is a variegated coral stripe home spun. For the quilting I used an all over design called Lacy Pasley using Superior polyester variegated thread and an 80% cotton, 20% polyester batting by Winline Textiles.
