Quiltmaker Magazine had a 6-part mystery quilt for the year 2022. The pattern-Ruby Jubiliee featured blocks from the column “Addicted to Scraps” by Bonnie Hunter.

This quilt is a scrap lovers delight. For my version I chose a wide range of blue and white fabrics from my stash. A jelly roll- “Machi” by Debbie Maddy for Moda. Two charm packs-Solitaire Whites by Maywood Studio and a large-scale print “Woodcut Geisha” by Alexander Henry Fabrics, which brings cohesiveness to this Japanese inspired mix.

The backing is a cuddly minkie fabric with a print of blue and white dots. I quilted the digital pattern Adrienne and used an 80% cotton/20% polyester batting to finish this stunning quilt.

Thread is Glide polyester on top and Superior polyester on the bottom.
