Truffles
Truffles, bon-bons, chocolate, strawberries and more come to mind when I look at this quilt. I used a pattern that I designed called “Perpetual Motion” which utilizes 2.5’’ strips of fabric. My fabric selection started with the line “Cocoa Pink” by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts. I add a wide variety of other truffle fabrics from my stash. Many of the fabrics have a late 1800’s influence.
The backing fabrics are Liberty Gatherings by Primitive Gatherings for Moda and Farmhouse (1810-1890) by LB Krueger for Windham fabrics, which is also used for the binding.
Traditional cotton batting and an edge-to-edge quilting pattern called Forest Walk finish the quilt. Cuddle under this traditional quilt and let it take you back to a bygone era.
Finished Size: King – 95.5’’ x 95’’
